Measuring Your Dog for a Royal Polartec® Romper or Royal Tee
Our Rompers and Tees are carefully designed to provide a comfortable, lean fit that helps keep your pup’s front legs securely in place without restricting movement. The fabric has a gentle stretch, allowing for a snug or slightly relaxed fit depending on your dog’s build.
- Measure neck, chest, and length while your dog stands upright.
- Compare your dog’s measurements with the chart below.
- If your pup is between sizes, choose based on whether you prefer a closer or looser fit.

Shipping Policy
Orders are generally prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days but during busy periods may take longer.
Within Australia
Once prepared, all orders will be shipped by tracked postage via Australia Post. We will email you with your tracking details. Orders can be tracked on the Australia Post tracking system
Free shipping (standard only) is available for orders of over $200.00
For orders under $180, postage costs are applied at checkout. As a guide, our current prices within Australia (as of 1st October 2025) are:

Large $19.50
Estimated delivery time Australia-wide is 2-6 business days but may vary.

All international orders are shipped with tracking via Australia Post Standard International Airmail.
US Orders
Once your order has been dispatched, you can track your parcel via USPS for more detailed tracking information and updates on your parcel’s progress.
For US orders, the advertised shipping prices include applicable customs duties and tariffs, which 2RoyalHounds will remit to the appropriate US authorities on your behalf. You will not be required to pay these charges separately on delivery.
Canadian Orders
Once your order has been dispatched, you can track your parcel via Canada Post for more detailed tracking information and updates on your parcel’s progress.
Other International Orders
For international orders to countries other than the US any countries customs duties, taxes or other import charges that may apply once your order reaches its destination are the responsibility of the customer.
Delivery Times
Delivery times vary depending on your destination. For estimated international delivery times, please refer to Australia Post International Delivery Times.
Please note that delivery timeframes are estimates and may be affected by customs processing, local postal services or other delays outside our control.
Express international shipping is not currently available.
Lost, Missing or Returned Parcels
2RoyalHounds is not responsible for parcels that are lost, missing or stolen after they have been delivered to the address provided at checkout.
Please ensure your shipping address is entered correctly when placing your order. If a parcel is returned to 2RoyalHounds due to an incorrect or incomplete address, any additional postage or return fees incurred may be charged to the customer before the parcel can be resent.

RETURNS & STORE CREDIT

CHANGE OF MIND = STORE CREDIT ONLY
We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change-of-mind returns.
Eligible returns receive STORE CREDIT ONLY, issued after your return has been received and inspected.
Store credit is emailed to you with a unique code and is valid for 12 months.
🐾 HOW TO RETURN
1. CHECK ELIGIBILITY
Returns must be lodged within 30 days of receiving your order.
Final Sale, Clearance, Sale/Discounted and Black Friday items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.
2. PREPARE YOUR ITEM
Items must be:
- Unworn and unwashed
- Free from dog hair
- In original, resaleable condition
- Returned with all tags attached
- In original packaging
A $5 re-tagging/repackaging fee will be deducted from your store credit if tags or original packaging are missing or damaged.
3. LODGE YOUR RETURN
All returns must be lodged through our Returns Portal.
4. SEND YOUR RETURN
If you selected Checkout+, your return label is provided at no cost.
Otherwise, return postage is your responsibility and will be deducted from your store credit.
5. RECEIVE YOUR CREDIT
Returns are inspected within 3–5 business days of arrival. Once approved, your store credit will be emailed to you.

⚠️ FAULTY OR INCORRECT ITEMS
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) are not affected.
If your item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, contact woof@2royalhounds.com.au as soon as possible.
We will assess the issue and provide the appropriate remedy under the ACL, which may include a repair, replacement or refund.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS
Approved cancellations made before processing or dispatch are subject to a 5% cancellation fee for non-refundable transaction costs.

This is the second harness I have purchased from 2royalhounds and I absolutely love them both! They fit my girl perfectly and she is so comfortable wearing them. I simply slip the harness over her head and firm up the Velcro around her belly. The harness always draws lots of comment from people where we walk. I will always buy these harnesses moving forward !
After having a recent situation on the freeway where my mini dachshund escaped from her harness, decide to join me in the front by coming under my seat and playing with the pedals. I was looking for something more secure and safe, for both of us. I found Royal Hound on Google. Read the blurb and reviews and decided this is what I needed for my Billie.
This is the best harness I have ever purchased. I got one for my 4 month old puppy and it is perfect! Will need to upsize eventually and will more than happily buy another one!!!!

The absolute best investment ever! My Teckel Kayleigh and I love her new harness. So easy to put on, light weight, breathable and zero friction, the fit is perfect. Today we went hiking on the mountain and she was highly visible in the orange (hunting season here in Canada ) and comfortable the entire time.
I would not hesitate to recommend this harness to any Daschund owner!

So much easier than my last over the head harness
My dachshund, Moose, has always hated wearing a harness. I had tried multiple styles and brands, but he would literally run away anytime I brought one out for a walk. They all seemed to rub in strange spots, restrict his movement, and he couldn’t wait to get them off as soon as we got home. Moose is also a puller, so using a collar around his neck simply wasn’t cutting it. I was nervous to spend money on another harness—especially since this one is a little pricier than most—but it has been so worth it! He gets so excited when I pull this harness out. It’s simple to put on, easy to adjust, and fits him incredibly well (doesn’t rub or restrict movement). Previously, when we got home from a walk, Moose would beg me to take his harness off. Now, he continues running around and playing with it on until I call him over to remove it. He genuinely loves it. It also works incredibly well despite the fact that he pulls on the leash. The design seems to provide excellent support and distributes pressure much more comfortably than a collar. My ONLY complaint is that I wish I had discovered this harness sooner so I wouldn’t have wasted money on all the others! 10/10 recommend

What a great harness for long sausage. Bought because lead on collar is too risky for our very excited Billy Dash, and other harnesses made his elbows bleed by him banging each stride. The colour is gorgeous.
A very good Harness for my dachshund. It is ver ynice. My hound was proud to wear it, today, 30 ougust 2026, on Geneva Teckel Walk.
Over the four years we have had our two precious, "Royal Hounds" we have tried numerous harnesses, all of which have failed to fit our dachshunds' bodies properly. Many harnesses have the buckle or catch located behind the elbow, or over the top of the spine, and these cause rubbing and irritation to our thin furred babies.
The Hug Me Harness fits them perfectly and we know they are comfortable and safe wearing them.
