How to Measure Your Dog

Measuring Your Dog for a Hug Me Harness™

To get the best fit for your dog:

  1. Make sure your dog is standing upright in a natural, neutral position.
  2. Wrap a tape measure around the mid-torso, a few centimetres behind the front legs (not directly behind them where the chest is widest).
  3. This ensures the harness won’t interfere with your dog’s front leg movement.
  4. No neck measurement is needed — the neck area of our Hug Me Harness™ is fully adjustable.

📏 Tip: If you don’t have a tape measure, use a piece of string and a ruler.
