How to Measure Your Dachshund
Use a soft measuring tape and measure:
Chest (Girth) – Around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs
Back Length – From the base of the neck to the base of the tail
Neck – Around the base of the neck where a collar naturally sits
No tape measure?
Use a piece of string, wrap it around your dog, then lay it flat against a ruler to get the measurement.

Washing Instructions
Our Leopard Fur Puffa Coats are designed for warmth, durability, and everyday adventure - with a waterproof outer and luxe leopard faux fur lining.
Machine washable for easy care
Wash at up to 40°C when needed
Always close Velcro straps before washing to prevent snagging
Use a mild detergent
Do not bleach
Do not tumble dry
Line dry in shade for best results

Shipping Policy
Orders are generally prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days but during busy periods may take longer.
Within Australia
Once prepared, all orders will be shipped by tracked postage via Australia Post. We will email you with your tracking details. Orders can be tracked on the Australia Post tracking system
Free shipping (standard only) is available for orders of over $180.
For orders under $180, postage costs are applied at checkout. As a guide, our current prices within Australia (as of 1st October 2025) are:

RETURNS & STORE CREDIT

CHANGE OF MIND = STORE CREDIT ONLY
We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change-of-mind returns.
Eligible returns receive STORE CREDIT ONLY, issued after your return has been received and inspected.
Store credit is emailed to you with a unique code and is valid for 12 months.
🐾 HOW TO RETURN
1. CHECK ELIGIBILITY
Returns must be lodged within 30 days of receiving your order.
Final Sale, Clearance, Sale/Discounted and Black Friday items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.
2. PREPARE YOUR ITEM
Items must be:
- Unworn and unwashed
- Free from dog hair
- In original, resaleable condition
- Returned with all tags attached
- In original packaging
A $5 re-tagging/repackaging fee will be deducted from your store credit if tags or original packaging are missing or damaged.
3. LODGE YOUR RETURN
All returns must be lodged through our Returns Portal.
4. SEND YOUR RETURN
If you selected Checkout+, your return label is provided at no cost.
Otherwise, return postage is your responsibility and will be deducted from your store credit.
5. RECEIVE YOUR CREDIT
Returns are inspected within 3–5 business days of arrival. Once approved, your store credit will be emailed to you.

We will assess the issue and provide the appropriate remedy under the ACL, which may include a repair, replacement or refund.

Approved cancellations made before processing or dispatch are subject to a 5% cancellation fee for non-refundable transaction costs.

So much easier than my last over the head harness
My dachshund, Moose, has always hated wearing a harness. I had tried multiple styles and brands, but he would literally run away anytime I brought one out for a walk. They all seemed to rub in strange spots, restrict his movement, and he couldn’t wait to get them off as soon as we got home. Moose is also a puller, so using a collar around his neck simply wasn’t cutting it. I was nervous to spend money on another harness—especially since this one is a little pricier than most—but it has been so worth it! He gets so excited when I pull this harness out. It’s simple to put on, easy to adjust, and fits him incredibly well (doesn’t rub or restrict movement). Previously, when we got home from a walk, Moose would beg me to take his harness off. Now, he continues running around and playing with it on until I call him over to remove it. He genuinely loves it. It also works incredibly well despite the fact that he pulls on the leash. The design seems to provide excellent support and distributes pressure much more comfortably than a collar. My ONLY complaint is that I wish I had discovered this harness sooner so I wouldn’t have wasted money on all the others! 10/10 recommend

What a great harness for long sausage. Bought because lead on collar is too risky for our very excited Billy Dash, and other harnesses made his elbows bleed by him banging each stride. The colour is gorgeous.
A very good Harness for my dachshund. It is ver ynice. My hound was proud to wear it, today, 30 ougust 2026, on Geneva Teckel Walk.
Over the four years we have had our two precious, "Royal Hounds" we have tried numerous harnesses, all of which have failed to fit our dachshunds' bodies properly. Many harnesses have the buckle or catch located behind the elbow, or over the top of the spine, and these cause rubbing and irritation to our thin furred babies.
The Hug Me Harness fits them perfectly and we know they are comfortable and safe wearing them.

This is the first harness that has properly fit our dachshund. She has full range of motion for her legs, secure “hug” fit and two option to fasten her leash. It’s easy to get on and off. The material is excellent quality and the service and shipping to Canada was quick. A+
