How to Measure Your Dachshund
Use a soft measuring tape and measure:
Chest (Girth) – Around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs
Back Length – From the base of the neck to the base of the tail
Neck – Around the base of the neck where a collar naturally sits
No tape measure?
Use a piece of string, wrap it around your dog, then lay it flat against a ruler to get the measurement.

Washing Instructions
Our Leopard Fur Puffa Coats are designed for warmth, durability, and everyday adventure - with a waterproof outer and luxe leopard faux fur lining.
Machine washable for easy care
Wash at up to 40°C when needed
Always close Velcro straps before washing to prevent snagging
Use a mild detergent

Shipping Policy
Orders are generally prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days but during busy periods may take longer.
Within Australia
Once prepared, all orders will be shipped by tracked postage via Australia Post. We will email you with your tracking details. Orders can be tracked on the Australia Post tracking system
Free shipping (standard only) is available for orders of over $180.
For orders under $180, postage costs are applied at checkout. As a guide, our current prices within Australia (as of 1st October 2025) are:

Medium $15.50
Large $19.50

For US orders, the advertised prices include customs duties and tariffs which 2RoyalHounds will remit to the appropriate US authorities on your behalf.
For international orders to other countries, 2RoyalHounds is not responsible for any additional customs duties or taxes that may apply once your order reaches its destination.

Return Policy
RETURNS & STORE CREDIT

CHANGE OF MIND = STORE CREDIT ONLY
We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change-of-mind returns.
Eligible returns receive STORE CREDIT ONLY, issued after your return has been received and inspected.
Store credit is emailed to you with a unique code and is valid for 12 months.
🐾 HOW TO RETURN
1. CHECK ELIGIBILITY
Returns must be lodged within 30 days of receiving your order.
Final Sale, Clearance, Sale/Discounted and Black Friday items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.
2. PREPARE YOUR ITEM
Items must be:
- Unworn and unwashed
- Free from dog hair
- In original, resaleable condition
- Returned with all tags attached
- In original packaging
A $5 re-tagging/repackaging fee will be deducted from your store credit if tags or original packaging are missing or damaged.
3. LODGE YOUR RETURN
All returns must be lodged through our Returns Portal.
4. SEND YOUR RETURN
If you selected Checkout+, your return label is provided at no cost.
Otherwise, return postage is your responsibility and will be deducted from your store credit.
5. RECEIVE YOUR CREDIT
Returns are inspected within 3–5 business days of arrival. Once approved, your store credit will be emailed to you.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) are not affected.
If your item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, contact woof@2royalhounds.com.au as soon as possible.
We will assess the issue and provide the appropriate remedy under the ACL, which may include a repair, replacement or refund.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS
Approved cancellations made before processing or dispatch are subject to a 5% cancellation fee for non-refundable transaction costs.

I purchased a Hunter Green Leopard Luxe Puffa Coat for Shadow and the Auburn Leopard Luxe Puffa for Evie. They lare snug as bugs in rugs and look very smart strolling the local streets and visiting our local cafes!
Lovely coats. The only thing was the small was too small to go over thewir harnesses so we arranged to send them back and exchange for the bigger size. This process was done with out stress. I recommend these coats

Absolutely love this puffer coat for my choc & tan dashie, Moose! The detail and work & work that has gone into this coat is amazing. It even has a smal top zipper section so he can wear his harness underneath. Moose often gets honked on his walk and told how gorgeous he looks in his puffer! :)
I purchased the Hunter Green Leopard Luxe Puffa Coat in Medium Long recently and I must say I love the way this coat fits as it hugs the back of my dachshund beautifully. It is easy to put on and off which is a big plus for my Ladybugs as it hugs with velcros around the neck and stomach. The zipper on the top is a bonus enabling me to thread through the harness for walking. Overall the coat is well designed for outside walks on a wet cold day as the Leopard Luxe inside coat keeps her comfy and warm. Thank you for a wonderfully designed coat.
